Record Breaking sales figures in June 2013

acar2go has had the most Incredible month of sales ever, surpassing all of our previous records I know that the month is not over yet but if I stopped the clock right now then I would still be a Happy Director.

My Team has worked very hard indeed putting in unpaid overtime to satisfy the requests of  some of our customers, Congratulations must also be expressed to my 3 Technicians, Nick, Ryan and Harry for the outstanding workload that they have managed to achieve this month.

The reward for this is a Team Go-Karting event followed by as much food as anybody can eat along with an unlimited FREE bar, check out our website for photos to follow the event which is planned for mid July.

Traditionally June is a quiet Month and I have never really known of one that broke any records, I thought we did well in February which was our last Great Record Month but to surpass it in a normally quiet June was surprising and warranted.

Our Warranty product offers a very good level of cover and Thankfully 74% of our customers agreed with most buying 3 years of protection, well done to Tyler for the best Warranty penetration at 86% of his customers.

The month of June has seen our stock holding rise to over 120 used cars, this is one of the obvious reasons that we have sold more as the saying goes, "You can't sell spaces" we are stock turning on average 86% of the cars we have available for sale which is an enviable position to be in as a member of the Motor Trade.

I almost forgot to mention and Thank as people do when regaling their Teams achievements the most important people without whom we would have to close the Doors forever; Our valued and much appreciated Customers.

Thank You so very much as without Your truly valued support our small local business would have to put 11 more people out of work, I think that there is a high enough percentage of society already sucking the life out of our Country's benefit system without adding to it.

So once again our gratitude goes out to you.

Best Regards

Truth, Moral, Facts, Karma.

Hi to all my blog followers,

I now update my twitter account more than I do the blog so please take a look and follow us on twitter our name is @acar2go, I find that you can update it quicker because they only give you 140 characters, more a memo than a proper update!

We are absolutely having it away at the moment, June is shaping up to be our best month ever, at the time of writing this blog update we are on 46 sales, I think that my belief in Karma guides me well as you get what you give and I only ever try to give good.

Hers's a Funny, True and moralistic story for you, maybe it will help to open your eyes to the retail motor trade.

A guy came into our office with a rather ignorant friend who was a pretend mechanic, we knew this because when he looked under the bonnet he didn't have a clue, couldn't even find the dipstick to check the oil!

He then test drove the car and told me that the clutch had only 6 months wear left in it and that if I reduced my price by £1,000 then he would recommend his friend to take it, I asked him where his clutch crystal ball was as I couldn't see where he had put it.

After a further 10 minutes of telling me what a load of cowboys us motor traders are, with no eye contact from start to finish, I asked them to tell me what I was pointing at, they both looked around and said the door, that was the only thing they got right, I walked around from my desk and asked them politely to leave and never to return.

The Truth: It was obvious to me they were punching way above their weight and that they couldn't afford my car!

The Moral: If they had been nice, courteous and respectful, I would probably have done something for them.

The Facts: We are all Ladies and Gentlemen serving Ladies and Gentlemen, we all come in the same way and we will all be going out the same way and in between we all breathe the same air!

Karma: What goes around comes around, you reap what you sow, treat others as you would like to be treated yourself!

Off my soapbox now; As a footnote I sold the car in question to an extremely nice Dubliner and his wife they absolutely love it and there is no problem with the clutch..

Busy day at acar2go

Hello again to all my blog followers,

What a great start to the weekend today was as 4 more people have joined the ranks of happy acar2go customers.

I see loads of people in this job from all walks of life, where else or in what other occupation could you meet such a diverse slice of society, today for example, a Doctor, a social worker, an optician and a train driver.

Everybody needs transport, when I left school and was thinking about what line of work to get into my Mum advised me to get a job where everybody needs what you have to offer, I thought about a job as Father Christmas but that was already taken by some fat guy with a beard.

After a lot of contemplation I thought that everyone needs to eat and started at what was then Windsor Safari Park (You probably know it now as Legoland) as a trainee chef, I was interviewed by Billy Smarts (As in Billy Smarts Circus) Daughter as the Smart Family used to own the land on which Legoland now stands. I still cook today but no longer get paid for it as my wife says that a Good Man should always look after his Lady and expect nothing in return.

Who am I to argue with "er indoors" anyway back to my story, everybody needs transport and until we run out of World resources to keep them on the road then I reckon I will just have to keep my hand in and carry on selling you wonderful people, super cars!

Best Regards and Thanks for looking in again.

Great Record finish to March for acar2go

Hi,

We have had an absolutely blazing result this month which follows on from the Best January sales that I have ever had and swiftly followed on by an amazing February, so in a nutshell a record breaking first quarter.

I now have my apprentice taken on through the government endorsed national apprentice scheme which now takes our staffing level to 4, not bad for a small business which was started up in the worst recession that this Country has seen since 1929!

acar2go is committed to first class customer service and that is what we will be instilling into our fresh, raw candidate, I am hoping to make a permanent job offer to him at the end of his 12 month apprenticeship, as our time invested will then not go to waste.

Thank you for looking in, I have to go now as another busy Saturday is beckoning.

Regards

Mark

acar2go on facebook

Hi to everybody looking in at my blog,

I didn't realise that facebook was such a powerful outlet for me and my used car business, I guess that I have got a bit behind on technology, I have been too busy trying to build a solid foundation over the last 4 years, the muddied waters are finally beginning to clear as there are now 4 of us working here at acar2go which gives me a bit more time to concentrate on consolidating on the formula that I have created.

I have a webtracker attached to my website which allows me to see where the leads are coming from and thus plan better for my advertising and marketing spend, facebook has lifted my site traffic by more than 40% overnight, that's really quite impressive!

People often ask me why is my business so different or what is my USP (Unique Selling Point) I tell them that it is simple, treat people like you want to be treated yourself, believing in Karma or what goes around comes around has guided me well, if only more people could adopt this philosophy then we would all get along so much better.

I am also often asked by prospective customers, "Why should I buy from you as opposed the the dealers or any other garages, in a nutshell I tell them to look up "acar2go" on google, if they see anything that you don't like then not to deal with me, they always come back and buy!

This is a good benchmark to assess what other dealers are like, many would be very scared of you looking them up!

A Big Thank you to my son Harvey for helping me with my endeavours and for the anticipated help with Infornation Technology going forward.

Thanks for looking in again.
